Terms & Conditions

• The Club welcomes UF students, UF partners and faculty, Gainesville locals (subject to applicable UF Recreation and Wellness Center access requirements), beginners, and experienced players.
• Access to UF North Recreation Center courts and facilities is subject to UF's own facility rules, access policies, and guest requirements, which are outside the Club's control.
• We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or remove membership or event participation for conduct that violates these Terms, UF policies, or our code of conduct.
  

Squash is a physically demanding sport that carries an inherent risk of injury. By participating in Club activities, practices, or events, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with play, including but not limited to physical injury, and you agree that the Club, its student organizers, and affiliated volunteers are not liable for injuries sustained during participation, except as prohibited by law. Participants are encouraged to consult a physician before beginning any new physical activity and to use appropriate safety equipment, including eye protection.

• Donations support court conversion, facility improvements, tournaments, and squash programming at UF and in Alachua County, as described on our website.
• Donations are voluntary and generally non-refundable except as required by law.
• Unless the Club has confirmed tax-exempt status with you directly, donations should not be assumed to be tax-deductible. Donors should consult a tax professional regarding deductibility.
• Donations are processed through a third-party payment processor; the Club is not responsible for errors or issues caused by that processor.
  

• Sponsors may receive recognition benefits such as website acknowledgment, event mentions, and community association, as outlined on our website.
• Sponsorship benefits are offered at the Club's discretion and are not guaranteed to produce any specific business, marketing, or promotional outcome.
• The Club reserves the right to decline or discontinue a sponsorship relationship at any time.
  

• Gear Hub is a listing service that connects members who want to buy or sell squash equipment (racquets, eye protection, balls, shoes, etc.).
• All transactions occur directly between buyers and sellers. The Club is not a party to any Gear Hub transaction, does not inspect or verify listed items, and makes no warranty as to the condition, safety, authenticity, or fitness of any equipment listed.
• Users are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for negotiating, inspecting, and completing transactions safely.
• The Club is not responsible for disputes, damages, or losses arising from Gear Hub transactions.
  

The Club may recommend a preferred stringing option and list other local alternatives as a convenience. We do not guarantee the pricing, quality, availability, or workmanship of any stringing provider, and any service arrangement is solely between you and the provider.

Members and participants are expected to treat one another, opponents, and UF facility staff with respect. The Club may remove individuals from events, courts, or the Gear Hub for unsafe, abusive, or disruptive conduct.

Text, graphics, and other content on our website belong to UF Gator Squash Gainesville or are used with permission. You may not reproduce or redistribute our content for commercial purposes without our consent.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UF Gator Squash Gainesville, its student leaders, and affiliated volunteers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in Club activities, use of the website, Gear Hub transactions, or reliance on stringing referrals.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued participation or use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
